Wii. Wii is the Thomas Kinkade of gaming.
I think the author of the Gamasutra article is confusing pleasant with mawkish. Granted, I haven’t been on Orsinal in probably three or four years, but I remember their games providing a pleasant, stylized atmosphere. I didn’t find them to be cloying or overly sentimental. I didn’t stick around though because I don’t find casual gaming to be at all compelling or worth my time. Though I had considered Orsinal games to be Best of Show in their category.
