One of the best games I’ve ever played, easily.
And if you miss this $25 sale, you can download the thing any day of the week from Steam for five bucks more (that’s $29.99 for the math impaired). That’s how I got it and played it a month or so ago.
And Alan’s right. The game is really in the top tier of games. There were a few things I thought could be done better, but they were minor. The storytelling is phenomenal and a step above almost anything we’ve yet seen in the medium (and specifically the FPS genre). I reviewed it about a month ago, giving it 3 1/2 stars (out of 4).
I still prefer the Half-Life series, but Bioshock was an awesome game experience.
