If you live on the north east coast you’ve been hammered by snow, in case you didn’t know. Some of us in the Midwest got it too. As a result of this downpour of white stuff every clown who thinks he’s a stand up comedian will begin making jokes about global warming, as if the presence of snow makes it totally false.
Now here’s the thing, whether you believe in Global Warming or not you should at least be informed before you start making jokes. It’s a terrible name, I know, but nonetheless Global Warming refers to extremes of either heat or cold. So the presence of snow does not somehow automatically, in-and-of-itself, make Global Warming a myth. So, please stop making that joke.

But it’s HILARIOUS!!!!
Of course the flip side is this: If you are out there demanding that the world radically alter its economic structure, police businesses, enforce taxes on production, change the way we live, and pump millions of dollars into a particular area of research… try not to take yourself so seriously. Dorks can laugh at themselves, you should too.
But Ben, it’s not a funny joke. It’s just kind of lame and sounds ignorant.
