I’m sure most of us have heard about last Sunday’s (March 8) shooting at First Baptist Church in Marysville, Il. During the shooting the pastor, Rev. Fred Winters, was shot and killed. Here’s an AP report where his wife has said she and her children are praying for the gunman and his family. She further says, “‘Terry, Jesus died on the cross for all of our sins, including the ones that you committed last Sunday.” Great testimony to following the example of Christ and declaring the Gospel in the most trying of circumstances. Our prayers should be both for her and be an echo of hers as well.
