In the face of heavy criticism, Konami Pulls Controversial Iraqi War Game. It could still be published by another publisher but as of now, Six Days in Fallujah is dead in the water.
We’ve been covering this story for a while, and I was particularly interested to see how it would play out. My overall feeling is that this was for the best after the ridiculously mixed messages the publisher and developer were sending about the game.
The original idea, though, could have been a good one. But I think everyone agrees that great care needed to be taken to make sure it’s done right, and things weren’t looking like that was necessarily the case.
