Twitter-Theology of Lent

So some mad genius (okay, he’s my husband) analyzed 15,000 tweets this week and made a Wordle of the top 100 things Twitterers claim to be giving up for Lent.

For what other kinds of things do you think Twitterology of this sort might be helpful? Can it actually give us an accurate picture of the spiritual zeitgeist of a (small, technologically savvy) group of people?

    Uh, accurate? I dunno about that much, but it’s pretty amusing. Good thing I didn’t give up being entertained for Lent…
