Piper, like most high-profile Christian pastors, has many critics. Regardless of my theological differences with Piper, I am extremely grateful that he wrote a book on racism and the Gospel. The ugly truth is that racism is still a very real problem in the church and almost no one wants to talk about it, except Piper.
