Okay Ben, Game of Thrones was an absolutely compulsive read and really pretty interesting. My only bone to pick is that Martin can't end a book. I realize that it's a series, but really, with the conclusion he picked, he could could have ended on any of the chapters. There was really no resolution to any of the storylines—which is fine since I have Book II sitting right here, but I imagine that I'll be less happy about it when I hit the arbitrary chapter that ends Book IV and have to begin the long wait with everyone else.

So yes or no question: Martin all but spells out Jon's parentage via sprinkled clues throughout the Book I. Is that secret revealed to Jon in Book II or do I have to wait longer to see his reaction?

So I saw Game of Thrones bundled with, what, Clash of Kings for $6.39 on Kindle so I picked it up. Looking forward to awesomeness.
