		<description>Before I start listening, I&#039;d just like to say that your opening remark is a huge assumption. &quot;We assume that by now you’ve either seen District 9 or decided not to.&quot;

I pretty much doubt that&#039;s the case for a goodly number of those of us who have yet to see the film. I want to see it. I&#039;ve wanted to see it since it came out. On its opening day I saw &lt;i&gt;Ponyo&lt;/i&gt; instead (which I absolutely believe was the right choice). I almost saw it on Tuesday. Now, I may have a chance to see it in a week-and-a-half. And I&#039;ll probably have to choose between that and &lt;i&gt;Inglourious Basterds&lt;/i&gt; (which from what I read, is a better film).

So it&#039;s not that I have decided not to see it. It&#039;s just that I haven&#039;t yet seen it. I suspect this is the case for most people who haven&#039;t seen it.
