Just caught up on the podcast with this week’s episode. I wanted to make a point about Glee…
The inconsistency in Glee’s characters (particularly the students), the constant regression, the way that the ‘summer break’ seemed to erase all the lessons they had learned in the previous school year – these are all things that I see on a constant basis as a youth pastor. It takes learning the same lesson over and over and over again before it really sticks.
I understand that it doesn’t make for the greatest television, but it is true to life.
